“ Meticulously crafted coffee. Friendly baristas. Ample seating including comfy couches. Yummy treats. Interesting flavors. That pretty much sums up this delightful coffee experience at 1oz. Ube latte and Honey latte stand out amongst the rest. I love how the coffees are visually appealing with super cute latte art. Twice baked croissants are yum and worth trying out. Vibe check - On point. Must visit for coffee enthusiasts! ”
“ (Chris Helmsworth voiceover) The vibe is hip coffee roaster hidden on Castro! 1 OZ is like Dr Who's Tardus. It is a fantastic place! Christine warmly greeted us! Went with her exquisite recommendation: Honey Cinammon Latte! Sooo good! Rich, decadent, just like me...in a few more, maybe a lot more years. Gibraltar! For you purists. For the record, that's me. And she packs a wallop! Kapow! Vanilla Latte! Wowza. Over delivers on innocence! Hazelnut Chocolate Croissant. Crunchy! Maybe like a roti bun. Crusty top! Divine! Ham & Cheese Croissant. Hearty! Poppy! Great! Love the ambiance, service, and exemplary coffee! Thanks, Christine! Will be back! Woohoo! ”
“ Conveniently located in Mountain View downtown, this cafe was the perfect first stop while strolling through the street. There was plenty of seating and we were able to find a table despite how busy it was. We got the coffee flight to sample multiple flavors. The drinks didn't take long to come out considering that each drink was carefully crafted with design and latte art. My favorite was the ube latte! It was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. A close second would be the cookie butter late--the seasonal drink (Dec 2024). Both drinks were unique and well balanced. The normal latte was alright and kind of plain. I also thought the matcha was very disappointing and had a grassy flavor, despite being a fan of matcha. Overall cute vibes and friendly cafe! I would definitely recommend their specialty lattes. ”
“ Heard about this place for a while. Finally gotten a chance to stop by. We got the cookie butter cap and Ube latte, they were both delicious , also we tried the pandan mochi, was also super chewy and delicious. Plenty of seats and it was a nice ambiance to sit in, staff are super nice. There's a wall you can leave your notes on, and we were having fun looking thru the notes. Will come back again soon ”
“ Once upon a time I was a pour over guy, but these days it's strictly espresso. While I don't get to downtown Mountain View as often as I'd like, it is right between home and work so when I have a little bit of extra time on my hands I make it a point to stop by. 1 oz Coffee or does a great espresso. It's the right temperature, has a nice and full flavor, and the service is on point. Anyone who gets an espresso to go should really consider getting a different beverage. Any place that sells espresso and only has paper cups, should stop selling espresso. The folx at 1 oz understand that and espresso deserves inappropriate vessel. Espresso cups they use familiar shape and a nice color to differentiate them. They place the espresso and a tiny shot of sparkling water on a bamboo tray, which immediately let you know that they know what they're doing. Service is always solid, with some at the POS being more friendly and personable than others, but always efficient ”
“ The cafe was clean, the staffs were nice, the espresso was dialed in and the latte art was on point! What more can you ask for? Recommend! Will return! ”
“ Drink variety and taste: Check! Pastry offerings: Check! Service: Check! Winner, winner, chicken dinner! ”
“ Great coffee pick me up spot! I usually go early on Friday and lately noticed more people coming. I'm happy it's popular because it's a great place. The pastries are yummy as well. The pastries change which is great to try new ones. I enjoy the poppyseed ham or the ube croissant. My favorite coffee is the Honey latte, it's made perfectly. The seating is spacious and they have outdoor seating. Always clean. Parking is in the back and on the front street. A lot of the baristas are college students so nice to chat about school. ”
“ every time I'm in Mountain View I always come here. Every single day. Nobody else makes lattes quite as good as the people who work here. You can tell the coffee is going to be good by the way the workers are so hip. The food items are alright, avocado toast is made with not fresh avocados, there's this type of avocado mush that comes out of a bag so it's actually real avocado, but it's not freshly scooped out of an avocado. That really takes away a lot from it. I do like the toast that they use for the avocado toast, though it's really thick and I would love to know where I could buy it. The veggie bagel sandwich is quite good, it's oozing with pesto and cream cheese, and assorted veggies, perfect way to start your day. The crowd here is your typical Silicon Valley folk. Everyone looks well to do and seems to be in a good mood all the time, like this song, Palo Alto by Radiohead. Cute ambience in here -- a little crowded.. in the mornings I think they could pull down the shade on the big window because every time I sit there, I risk getting severely sunburned.. so don't sit there. unless ur tryna tan lol. Coming from Los Angeles, I think this is probably the best coffee you can get in Mountain View. The latte never fails me. Service is slow sometimes as they're busy, but it's worth the wait. Trust me. ”
“ Ordered the Vanilla Bean Latte since I wanted to get the Ceremonial Matcha Latte but they ran out. I'd consider getting the Mini Latte Flight next time. ”
